Why Do We Need Cars?
Cars are needed for transportation. People drive cars so that they can have the freedom they need to be able to get where they need to go when they need to get there.
Driving a car is not overly difficult and gives someone the ability to travel large or small distances much quicker than walking. Before being able to drive a car legally, individuals must obtain a driver’s license. In order to get a license, potential drivers must pass a written test to show that they know the rules of the road and what to do in different types of situations. They must then pass a driving portion of the test. The examiner has drivers drive to different areas to show their abilities.
Passing a driving test does not make someone a great driver. When behind the wheel of a car, it is important for drivers to stay alert at all times. This means paying attention to the road instead of cell phones, radios, passengers and other distractions. Driving defensively and reacting decisively to the actions of other drivers and pedestrians is the best way for drivers to avoid accidents. Drivers must never operate motor vehicles when under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
