Briggs & Stratton manufactures Murray lawn mower engines in the United States. As of 2016, Walmart.com sells Murray lawn mowers, and the product pages state that they are made in the USA, but offers a disclaimer that directs buyers to reference the product packaging for the most accurate manufacturing location.
According to the Briggs & Stratton website, three of its six engine manufacturing and assembly plants produce the engines found in the Murray line of push and riding lawn mowers. The manufacturing plants are located in the states of Wisconsin, Missouri and Kentucky. The company notes that the engines include parts from U.S. and global suppliers.
