The exact amount of money stolen during the two-year Bonnie and Clyde crime spree is unknown. Most robberies were at small grocery stores and gas stations, along with the occasional bank. Bonnie and Clyde’s robberies lacked the thoroughness that other gangsters displayed during the same era.

Bonnie and Clyde were known as ruthless killers, and they were responsible for the murders of 13 individuals before they were located by the FBI and state police. They were also responsible for several kidnappings and multiple car thefts. Bonnie and Clyde were gunned down by the police outside of Sailes, Louisiana, on May 23, 1934.
