How Much Does a Large Pizza Weigh?
Last Updated Mar 29, 2020 3:07:22 PM ET
The weight of a large pizza varies based on the type of crust used, the toppings on the pizza, and the size that the manufacturer considers to be large. For example, a large thin crust cheese pizza usually weighs less than a deep-dish supreme pizza.
Although pizza from a pizza parlor is different than frozen pizza, one can look at the different weights of frozen pizza to get an idea of how different crusts and toppings affect the weight of the pizza. A thin and crispy Red Baron cheese pizza weighs just 417 grams or 0.92 pounds while a rising crust Red Baron pepperoni pizza weighs 548 grams or 1.21 pounds.
