How Much Do Laminated Wood Beams Typically Cost?
Last Updated Mar 25, 2020 2:27:23 AM ET
As of 2015, laminated wood beams typically range in price from just less than $2 per linear foot to more than $5 per linear foot. In addition to the type and quality of the wood, several factors affect price, including the specific width and depth measurements of the beam.
Most laminated wood beams are sold in even length increments, meaning that they are rounded up to the next even foot. For example, a beam measuring 9 1/2 linear feet would be rounded up to 10 feet. The beam would then need to be cut down to the correct measurements on site.
