As of September 2014, the inaugural issue of "George" magazine can be purchased for about $20. However, it may be difficult to find available copies.
As of 2014, backissues.com lists a price of $19.95 for the October/November 1995 issue, but the website does not have any copies in stock. Amazon offers two in-stock used copies in acceptable condition for $19.99 and $20.00. The inaugural issue features a cover photo of model Cindy Crawford posing as George Washington.
George Magazine was founded in 1995 by Michael Berman and the late John F. Kennedy, Jr. The magazine continued to be published for about a year and a half after Kennedy's death in 1999.
