A carrot that is 7.25 inches or longer should weigh at least 72 grams. A cup of carrots varies in weight based on how it is prepared. A cup of sliced carrots weighs around 122 grams, a cup of grated carrots weighs approximately 110 grams and a cup of chopped carrots weighs around 128 grams.
