MetroPCS does not have a cell phone plan specifically designed for teenagers. However, it does offer three plans that work for teenagers. All plans include unlimited talk, text and data.
Since teenagers under the age of 18 cannot sign a legally binding contract, they cannot get regular cell phone service. They can get a pre-paid service, however, that allows them to pay for usage on a month-to-month basis.
MetroPCS plans range from $40 to $60 per month, as of 2015. Users with the $40 plan receive up to 2 gigabytes of data at 4G LTE speeds, while those with the $60 plan received unlimited high-speed data.
Parents can also add their teenager onto their MetroPCS plan and receive a $5 family plan discount for each line.
