In the United States, Mercedes-Benz vehicles are manufactured in Tuscaloosa, Ala., at the Mercedes-Benz U.S. International Inc. factory. The factory is located between Interstate 20 and Route 11.

The Tuscaloosa factory manufactures the M-Class, GL-Class, C-Class and R-Class as of 2014, with plans to add a fifth vehicle to the line in 2015. While many of the Mercedes-Benz parts are made offsite, the vehicles are assembled and painted at the factory. Factory tours are available during scheduled hours, although during certain times, parts of the factory may be closed to visitors. There is also a factory in Germany that manufactures Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
