A numeric order is a way to arrange a sequence of numbers and can be either ascending or descending. For example, an ascending numerical order of area codes for the United States starts with 201, 203, 204 and 205.
An ascending numerical order is a sequence that starts with the lowest value and increases towards the highest, while the reverse is a descending order. Arranging numbers this way aids the search and analysis of items in a list for easier decision making.
