Maximo D. Ramos is a famous author from the Philippines, and he writes English books. His books are mostly about Filipino folk tales, mythology and legends.
Ramos, who was born in 1910, is the author of various books like “Philippine Myths, Legends and Folktales,” “Creatures of Philippine Lower Mythology” and “The Creatures of Midnight.” The “Creatures of Philippine Lower Mythology” was published by the University of the Philippines in 1971. The thesis that he submitted to the university in 1965 was revised to create this book. He is also the author of the book “Boyhood in Monsoon Country.”
