How Many Yards Is a Basketball Court?

A basketball court at the collegiate and professional levels measures 94 feet in length and 50 feet in width, or approximately 31.3 yards long and 16.6 yards wide. High school courts are slightly smaller in length, measuring 84 feet, or 28 yards.

The placement of the three-point line on the court is different for each level of play. The arc lies at a distance of 19 feet, 9 inches at the high school level, with the length increasing to 20 feet, 9 inches and 23 feet, 9 inches from the center of the basket at the collegiate and pro levels, respectively.
