How Many Square Feet Are in a Pallet of Bricks?
Last Updated Apr 10, 2020 11:01:50 AM ET
A bricklayer uses one pallet of bricks to lay 100 square feet of pavement or 71 square feet of wall. There are about 500 bricks per pallet, according to the Lowe's Brick Buying Guide.
It takes about five bricks per square foot for a paving project and seven bricks per square foot for a wall. There is more waste produced when building walls with bricks and a difference in mortar thickness that cause this difference. The shape of the bricks also affects the coverage. The correct mortar mix and the proper joint style is needed to ensure a fully-sealed wall.
