How Many MVP Awards Has LeBron James Won?
LeBron James has received a total of four MVP awards in the years 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013. He has also received two NBA Finals MVP awards for the years 2012 and 2013, when he and the Miami Heat won two consecutive NBA finals.
LeBron James was born in Akron, Ohio in 1984, where he later played high school basketball at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School. In the 2003 NBA Draft he was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers, for whom he played until 2010 when he joined the Miami Heat. LeBron holds two NBA championships and two All-Star MVP awards, having made the all-star team 10 times. In 2004 he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year, and in 2008 he was the NBA scoring champion. He holds the Cleveland Cavaliers all-time leading scorer mantle.
