Jackie Robinson and his wife, Rachel, had three children: Jackie Jr., Sharon and David. Jackie Robinson died in 1972, a year after Jackie Jr. died. Rachel, Sharon and David Robinson are living as of 2015.

David Robinson created Sweet Unity Farms, a group of 300 small farms in Tanzania. Sweet Unity Farms provides access to international markets for the group. David Robinson also formed the Up-Country International Project to market the group’s coffee to the American market.

Sharon Robinson serves as an educational consultant for Major League Baseball. She had a 20-year career as a nurse-midwife and an educator. Robinson taught at Yale, Columbia, Howard and Georgetown Universities. She also is an author and wrote three non-fiction books about her father.

Jackie Robinson Jr. served in the Army but was killed in an automobile accident in June 1971. He was 24 years old.
