Fluid-branded televisions are solely found in stock at The Source, a company formerly known as RadioShack. This brand is exclusive to The Source retail stores, as well as other brands of electronics. These products are imported from countries outside of Canada and rebranded for the sake of profits.
Some other exclusive brands The Source sells include InStudio, Headrush and Gnarly Fish. This practice of importing and using their own brands for products has been a long-standing practice since the company was still called RadioShack.
The name RadioShack was changed due to confusion with the United States stores of the same name, resulting in a suit that was settled with the change of the store's name to The Source. This allowed RadioShack stores to open up in Canada alongside The Source.
