The dry communities in Georgia are Bulloch County, Butts County, Coweta County, Decatur County, Effingham County, Hart County, Lumpkin County, Murray County, Union County, Upson County and White County, as of 2014. Each county code of ordinances, along with amendments pertaining to alcohol, are publicly available .

The retail sale of distilled spirits is prohibited in Bulloch County. The sale of distilled spirits for consumption on-site is outlawed in Butts County. Coweta County prohibits the retail sale of distilled spirits. Decatur County prohibits the sale of distilled spirits to be consumed on-site. Effingham County prohibits the retail sale of distilled spirits. Hart County prohibits the sale of distilled spirits for consumption on-site and retail sale. Lumpkin County prohibits the retail sale of distilled spirits. Murray County prohibits the sale of distilled spirits for retail and consumption on-site. Union County prohibits the retail sale of distilled spirits. Upson County prohibits the retail sale of distilled spirits, but the sale of distilled spirits for consumption on-site was approved by vote in May 2014. White County prohibits the sale of distilled spirits for retail and consumption on-site.
