What Is Legendary Times Magazine?
Legendary Times is the official magazine of the Archaeology, Astronautics and SETI Research Association. This association is directed by Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, who is best known for his TV series “Ancient Aliens.”
Legendary Times magazine was founded in 1998. The magazine went on hiatus in 2008 and has produced no new issues since then, but it still has an active Facebook page, which is primarily used to promote Tsoukalos’ speaking engagements and appearances. Back issues of Legendary Times magazine are available for sale in downloadable PDF format through Tsoukalos’ publishing company, Legendary Times Books.
The magazine’s subject matter overlaps with the topics usually covered on episodes of “Ancient Aliens.” They include ancient astronaut theory, extraterrestrials and the influence of aliens on the development of ancient civilizations on Earth. It has become the official magazine of the Archaeology, Astronautics and SETI Research Association, of which Tsoukalos has been the director for 15 years. The association was originally founded by Erich von Däniken, a Swiss scientist who has advanced similar theories about alien intelligence and its influence on the development of humanity. Legendary Times magazine is not a peer-reviewed publication, and the scientific community generally views Legendary Times as a pseudoscientific publication.
