A Lebanese cucumber is a variety of burpless cucumber. These cucumbers are hybrids developed in modern times and are also known as an Oriental cucumber.
Lebanese cucumbers are like their non-hybrid counterparts in terms of growing and harvesting. They thrive in moist, warm soil and plenty of sunlight. If the cucumbers are intended for slicing and eating fresh, they should be picked when they are about 8 to 10 inches in length. For pickling, they should be harvested at about 3 to 4 inches in length. Lebanese cucumbers mature quickly and should be harvested frequently for the plants to have maximum productivity.
