In the King James Version of the Bible, the last word is “Amen.” The last book of the Bible is the “Book of Revelation,” and the last verse is 22:21.

Other versions of the Bible may say something different. For example, The Message version lists the last word as “Yes,” but many believe these two words mean the same thing. The Message Bible was created with modern language in mind. The first copyright for The Message was granted in 1993.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the Bible is the most widely sold and distributed book of all time. Recent estimates indicated that over 5 billion copies have been sold around the world.
