LA Fitness does not offer senior discounts on memberships, as of 2015. Seniors with Healthways Silver Sneakers or Prime Fitness benefits can access participating LA Fitness gyms to engage in special fitness programs.
Seniors who participate in Silver Sneakers through their Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement or group retiree programs can use participating LA Fitness facilities and engage in fitness activities with the guidance of instructors. Seniors who participate in Healthways Prime Fitness through their health plans or employer groups can also access LA Fitness clubs. LA Fitness offers its own Senior Fit program, which focuses on using lightweight dumbbells to improve bone density and muscles strength.
