All Kobalt brand tools have a lifetime warranty. The warranty length of other Kobalt brand items varies, but may be supplemented by Lowe’s extended protection plan.

Kobalt is a Lowe’s store brand, and an extended protection plan is available for those Kobalt products that do not come with a lifetime warranty. This plan covers parts, labor, surge protection, and normal wear and tear. It must be purchased within 30 days of the original item purchase.

The terms and conditions of specific item warranties can be found on Lowe’s website. Customers can also contact Lowe’s to see if an item is still under warranty. Lowe’s does not require a receipt to complete repairs covered by warranty.
