Several NBA players have their own signature shoes, while other players wear top-brand names and the highest-performing basketball shoes. The leading brands of NBA players’ shoes are Jordan, Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Under Armour. Each of these brands has signature NBA players signed on as sponsors.

Athletes sponsored by Jordan Brand shoes are Carmelo Anthony, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. Some sponsors for the Nike Brand are Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Lebron James and Kyrie Irving. Nike and Jordan are the top two brands of shoes used by NBA players. Even if a given player does not have a signature basketball shoe, he likely wears one of these two brands when playing basketball in the NBA or making public appearances.

Other brands, such as Adidas, Reebok and Under Armour, do not have as many professional NBA sponsors. However, these brands supply some NBA players with sneakers for games and public appearances. Athletes representing Adidas basketball shoes include Damian Lillard, John Wall and Derrick Rose. Reebok sponsors the former basketball star Shaquille O’Neal. Under Armour recently made an important move for its franchise by signing the NBA’s MVP Stephen Curry to support its shoe brand, as of August 2015.
