The KFC Learning Zone is a learning management system created and used by the fast food restaurant chain KFC. The Learning Zone consists of training modules that are used to train workers. It is accredited by City and Guilds.
KFC introduced the KFC Learning Zone in 2011 in an effort to move from paper-based training to e-learning in combination with on-the-job experience and coaching. Each KFC restaurant has one or more laptops that employees can use to log on to the system. According to its website, KFC credits the system with increasing the completion speed of its training modules by 30 percent.
