World Wrestling Entertainment superstar John Cena never served in the military. Prior to his professional wrestling career, Cena worked as a limousine driver and entertained thoughts of becoming a pro bodybuilder.
Cena was born on April 23, 1977, in West Newbury, Mass. He began training as a wrestler in 1999 and signed a developmental deal with the WWE in 2001 before ultimately making his TV debut in 2002. Cena is a 16-time world champion and is recognized as the face of the WWE. In addition to wrestling, Cena has starred in the movies “The Marine,” “12 Rounds” and “Legendary.”
