What Is ITB Delta Gamma?

According to the Delta Gamma organization, it is a female fraternal organization committed to service, friendship and leadership development, and ITB is a slogan of the sorority standing for “in the bond.” “ITB Delta Gamma” shows sisterhood in the sorority.
The ITB slogan first developed as a statement of solidarity in fraternities and stood for “in the brotherhood.” Sororities borrowed the initials choosing “in the bond” as a more feminist interpretation for their all-female membership. Delta Gamma members place “ITB Gamma Delta” following their signatures when sending emails or letters to other Delta Gamma members. This is seen as a private communication of sisterhood.
