The Italian symbol for strength is the Italian horn, also known as a "cornicello" or "cornetto," both of which translate to "little horn" in English. The Italian horn is sometimes called the wiggly horn, the leprechaun staff or the unicorn horn.
The cornetto signifies strength and power and is traditionally worn as an amulet to protect the wearer from evil spirits, particularly "the evil eye." Italian horn charms in Italy and America are often featured on necklaces and other jewelry.
As a symbol, the horn is also associated with power and strength in Celtic and Druidic traditions. Other ancient symbols of power include the ankh, the dragon and the lightning bolt.
