IP address 192.168.0.1 is the default IP address set in many home routers that are on broadband, particularly the D-Link and Netgear routers. This is set at the factory, but you can go in and change the IP address. It is an IPv4 network address set to private.
IP address 192.168.0.1 is able to have its administrative panel accessed by pointing your browser to http://192.168.0.1. Only a single computer or Internet device can be set to this default address at one time. It is often better to change the address to a different IP in order to avoid any login conflicts.
