Indigo is a cool color that symbolizes trust, truthfulness and stability. It may also be associated with royalty and authority. In eastern mysticism, this color is associated with the third eye chakra. It signifies spirituality and higher consciousness. New Age proponents use the term "indigo children" to describe gifted, sensitive kids with highly evolved consciousness. These children are said to emit indigo auras.
