What Are the Hours of Operation for Sam’s Club?

The hours of operation for Sam’s Club vary by location, but as of 2015, regular hours at most locations are from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Saturday; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. A membership is required to enter the store, but members are allowed to bring guests.

Regular hours apply to all Sam’s Club members, but for an added membership fee, you can become a Plus or Business member and enjoy the exclusive thrill of shopping without the crowds and lines when you show up early. Early shopping hours are 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., Monday through Friday, and 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday. Additional perks are included in an upgrade to a Plus or Business membership.

Sam’s Club closes completely on major holidays, including New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Other holiday hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the Fourth of July and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Labor Day.

Because hours of operation can vary with location, it is important to check the hours of your local club. You can do so using the Sam’s Club online Club Locator tool. Individual club locations may also have varying specialty departments.
