What Honda Models Offer Bluetooth Compatibility?
Honda offers Bluetooth as a standard feature on most of its passenger vehicles, as of 2015, including the Honda Accord, Honda Fit and Honda Civic. The Honda Pilot and HR-V and Honda Odyssey minivan also come with Bluetooth as standard equipment.
Honda began offering Bluetooth as a standard feature for the 2012 model year on the Civic sedan and CR-V SUV, and some Honda models from 2008 onwards may also have Bluetooth connectivity included as an option. In addition to standard Bluetooth connectivity, Honda incorporates Bluetooth HandsFreeLink technology in its vehicles to allow drivers with compatible cellphones to make calls and change audio playback settings hands-free. The compatibility of specific phones with HandsFreeLink varies from phone-to-phone and from vehicle-to-vehicle, though most newer iPhone and Android phones are likely to be compatible with late-model vehicles. Honda offers a tool on its website to allow owners to confirm that their phone works with Honda’s Bluetooth system and to find out which features are supported.
Honda also offers its proprietary HondaLink system on some Bluetooth-equipped cars with touch-screen infotainment systems. HondaLink allows the driver to operate some phone functions through the vehicle’s touch screen wirelessly. It also enables drivers to schedule service appointments and access personalized radio stations via Honda’s HondaLink app for iOS and Android.
