Hisense televisions are produced by Hisense Co. Ltd as part of its production line, which is spread out over 19 factories located in South Africa, Algeria, Egypt and China. Aside from televisions, Hisense also produces a variety of electronic products, including refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines and communication devices.

Hisense television units are sold through a subsidiary company of Hisense Co. Ltd that focuses on household appliances. The company sells its products in over 130 countries and also operates a research and development division staffed with over 3,000 engineers worldwide. The company was initially founded as a radio factory in China in 1969.
