A good song for pastor appreciation is "Thank You (for Giving to the Lord)" by Ray Boltz. This song won the Gospel Music Association's Dove award for Song of the Year in 1990.
Ray Boltz decided to write "Thank You" when someone from his church requested that he make a song for Pastor Appreciation Day. While trying to come up with ideas for the song, he thought of the people who had the greatest influence on his life. One of them was his pastor, Eldon Morehouse, and Boltz wrote the song in his honor. When Mother Teresa died in 1997, this song was performed during her funeral.
