Give a new member of the National Honor Society a frame for the certificate that comes with this distinction, or choose an academic gift such as a gift card to a bookstore or a new planner. Alternatively, give a hard-working student a break with movie or restaurant gift cards.
Many NHS members go on to attend college, so write a check or fill a gift basket with dorm items, such as a first aid kit or quarters for laundry.
Check with the head of the school’s NHS chapter to find out whether the school sells any customized merchandise, such as key chains and t-shirts, for its members. The National Honor Society also sells merchandise with its branding.
