Glidden Gripper primer is used on surfaces that paint does not easily adhere hard to, such as tile, wallpaper,wood, paneling and laminates. It can also be used on normal surfaces like drywall and plaster.
Glidden Gripper primer fills cracks and other imperfections; it seals off stains and provides a layer to prevent mildew. The primer also prevents paint from cracking and peeling when used on wood surfaces.
Glidden Gripper in white is recommended for painting lighter colors. When painting bright, vivid or rich colors, the Glidden Gripper grey tint primer is suggested. The grey primer can be tinted before use to make sure the correct tint is used with the paint colors chosen.
