Who Is Gigi Graham?
Gigi Graham is the oldest child of American Christian evangelist Billy Graham and his wife Ruth Bell. She is an author and inspirational speaker. Among her books are “For Women Only: Keeping Your Balance in a Changing World,” “A Woman’s Quest for Serenity” and “Weatherproof Your Heart.”
Born Virginia Leftwich Graham in 1945, Gigi married Swiss-Armenian Stephan Tchividjian at 17 and lived briefly in Switzerland. The couple moved back to the United States where they raised a family of seven children. After divorcing Tchividjian, she married a private investigator, but the marriage also ended in divorce. She remarried in 2012 to childhood friend Jim Wilson.
As of 2014, Graham serves as a family representative at The Cove, which is the conference center of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Asheville, North Carolina. She recounts to visitors the Graham family history, the Billy Graham and Ruth Bell love story, the history of the Graham evangelical ministry and how the Graham children keep the ministry alive.
