The Ford Focus is equipped with a gas tank capable of holding 12.4 gallons, according to Ford. The compact SE sedan obtains an estimated 28 miles to the gallon in the city and 40 miles to the gallon on the highway, for a combined 33 miles per gallon.
The Ford Focus ST edition, which is outfitted with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine, obtains 23 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway, for a combined 26 miles per gallon. However, Ford notes that actual mileage for all of its cars tends to vary from the above estimates, which are courtesy of the Environmental Protection Agency.
