How Do I Forward House Calls to My Cell Phone?

Transferring calls to your cell phone from a landline is an easy task, but in order to do it, you must have the call forwarding feature enabled on your phone. Check with your phone company to make sure you have this feature. If you do, forward landline phone calls to your cell phone by simply dialing *72, entering your cell phone number and pressing the pound button on your landline phone.
-
Push the call forwarding activation keys on your landline phone
Dial *72 on your landline phone, and listen for a dial tone. You might hear one or two short beeps before hearing the dial tone.
-
Enter your cell phone number
On the keypad of your landline phone, dial your 10-digit cell phone number.
-
Press the pound symbol
Press the pound symbol (#) on your landline phone. After pressing pound, you might hear a recording stating that your calls are now being transferred, or you might simply hear a dial tone.
-
Repeat the three steps
If you want to ensure that you have transferred the calls correctly, repeat steps one through three.
-
Disable call forwarding
When you are ready to disable the call forwarding feature you’ve activated, press *73 on your landline phone.
