The most popularly eaten foods in Ontario include maple syrup, corn on the cob and pasta. In Quebec, poutine and Montreal-smoked meat are traditional fares during Canada Day. Other Canadian staples include bacon, pemmican, Arctic char, venison, goose and lobster.
