A five-leaf clover is lucky. A five-leaf clover attracts money and brings even more luck to a person who finds one than a four-leaf clover.
Clover is sometimes found with six leaves. Some believe that a six-leaf clover brings fame. A clover stem with 56 leaves was found in Japan in May 2009. This is believed to be the highest number of leaves ever seen on a stem of clover.
Clover with multiple leaves occur infrequently due to mutations, weather and growing conditions. For every four-leaf clover, there are an estimated 10,000 three-leaf clovers, and five- , six- and seven-leaf clovers are even more rare.
