What Are Some of the Features of the Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition?
Features of the Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition of the 2007 XLT include front and rear side-curtain airbags and rollover side-curtain airbag sensors, 10-position power-adjustable and height-adjustable lumbar support for the driver’s seat, and manual adjustable passenger seat support. The Eddie Bauer trim also includes Ford’s Safety Canopy system, dusk-sensing headlamps with automatic off delay, exterior entry lights, step running boards and an instrument panel compass. Leather-trimmed bucket seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob are included.
The Eddie Bauer edition is the mid-level trim package for Ford’s full-size sport utility vehicle, the Explorer XLT. The auto manufacturer and retailer have collaborated for more than 20 years to enhance Ford vehicles. Other comfort and convenience features of the trim package include dual illuminating vanity mirrors, rear reading lights and an overhead console. Drivers can enter their vehicles using a keypad and keyless entry system. The rear view mirror dims automatically, and simulated wood trims the door and dash.
The four-by-four Explorer in the Eddie Bauer Edition is available with a 4.0-liter V6 210-horsepower engine or a 4.6-liter 292-horsepower V8. The on-demand four-wheel drive vehicles can tow almost 7,000 pounds, while the two-by-four Explorer can tow about 7,300 pounds. Eddie Bauer trim packages include heated front seats and two-tone paint.
