What Are Some Fast Ways to Dry Paper Mache?
Last Updated Mar 29, 2020 3:00:19 PM ET

You can dry your paper mache creations faster by placing them in front of a fan or using a hair dryer. Additionally, you can place small paper mache projects in the oven at the lowest possible temperature, but you must check on them frequently.
Use a low or medium setting when drying paper mache creations with a fan or hairdryer to avoid damaging them, and make sure that you dry each side evenly. These electrical devices are good for speeding up the drying process, but paper mache still needs time to air dry. Dry the under-layers before you add another layer of paper mache or add paint.
