Human rights violations include slavery, torture and denial of the freedom of thought and movement. Many of these violations still occur on a daily basis throughout the world.
Human rights violations are any action that violates the personal freedom and rights of a human being. These violations may be caused by another individual who is acting on his or her own accord or under the influence of a group. Human rights violations may also be driven by a larger authority, such as a government or a dictator.
There are a number of activists and organizations that work together to fight violations against humans. Many of these organizations have missions to prevent specific violations, such as human trafficking.
