How Do You Download a Book From Amazon Prime?

Amazon Prime members can download books they have purchased in the same manner as all other Amazon members, but they have access to two special perks. They can borrow books through the Kindle Owners’ Lending Library, and they can also get new books ahead of release.

The Kindle Owners’ Lending Library allows Prime members who have a Kindle device to borrow one book per household per calendar month. To download a book, Prime members first need to open the Kindle store. Users of Fire tablets and phones may need to swipe from the left edge of the screen to find this option. Users of e-readers can find this under the “All Categories” tab. A book can then be downloaded from the current available selection. Books do not have a due date and can be returned any time. This feature does not work with the Kindle Reading App.

Kindle First offers Prime members a selection of editors picks each month. These are all books that are about to be released. Prime members can get them at a discounted price of $1.99 and are able to download them before they are released to the general public. This feature can be accessed through both the Kindle Reading App and any Kindle device.
