How Do You Display the Taskbar in Windows 10?
If the taskbar in Windows 10 is not visible, use a mouse cursor to point to the last known location of the taskbar. The taskbar is only available on the top, bottom, left or right sides of the main monitor in Windows 10, and it may be placed on any of these locations by dragging and dropping it with a mouse cursor.
The Windows 10 taskbar is available in two configurations. The first is an always-on configuration, where the taskbar is constantly visible on the screen. This configuration is useful for users who have a lot of programs running and constantly switch between them, or those who want to be able to view any alerts that appear in the taskbar system tray, located on the right side of the taskbar.
The second configuration of the Windows 10 taskbar is the auto-hide configuration. In this mode, the taskbar is visible whenever a mouse cursor is hovering over it. When the cursor moves away, however, the taskbar disappears by appearing to slide into the side of the screen where it is located. This auto-hide configuration frees up more screen space by allowing applications to use the entire screen instead of stopping at the point where the taskbar is located. It does, however, reduce the visibility of the programs in the taskbar, as well as any alerts in the system tray.
