Guy Hovis and Ralna English divorced in 1984. They married in 1969 and had one daughter together, who was born in 1977. Hovis married Sarah "Sis" Lundy in 2002, and English never remarried.
Hovis and English rose to fame on "The Lawrence Welk Show," a musical variety program that aired from 1951 to 1982. English joined the show first, and after one duet with Hovis during the 1969 Christmas show, they remained a duo on the show until 1982.
Hovis lives with his wife in Jackson, Mississippi, and English lives with her and Hovis' daughter in Scottsdale, Arizona, as of 2015. Despite their divorce, Hovis and English remain friends and continue to perform together occasionally.
