Dan Marino never won a Super Bowl. Marino's only Super Bowl appearance was Super Bowl XIX that followed the 1984 NFL season. In that game, Marino's Miami Dolphins lost to the San Francisco 49ers with a score of 38 to 16.
Dan Marino was drafted to the Miami Dolphins in 1983 as a first-round pick. He spent his entire 17-year NFL career as quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. His final game with the franchise was in 1999. Marino was named Rookie of the Year in 1983, led his team to an AFC championship title in 1984 and went to the Pro Bowl nine times. He holds titles such as the first quarterback to throw 5,000 yard in one season and the first quarterback to throw 40 touchdowns in one season.
