Did Country Singer Randy Travis Die?

Country music legend Randy Travis has not died, as of June 3, 2015, but has been recovering from a stroke suffered in July 2013. It was a complication that occurred after the singer was hospitalized for congestive heart failure. As a result Travis was left unable to speak or walk.
The 60-year-old North Carolina native was being treated for viral cardiomyopathy and congestive heart failure when the stroke occurred. Randy Travis then underwent brain surgery and contracted pneumonia. After a brief period in a rehabilitation facility he returned to his ranch in Nashville, where he continues to recuperate slowly with the love and support of his family.
