What Is the Curfew for Teens in Colorado?

There are no state laws related to teen curfews in Colorado. However, curfews may be established in various communities for the safety and protection of minors.

Curfew ordinances in each community are defined by local governing bodies and enforced by appropriate officials. The Colorado Springs ordinance, for example, restricts aimless loitering, driving and riding by individuals under the age of 18 after 10:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and after midnight Friday and Saturday. The restriction ends at 6:00 a.m. each day. Denver curfew times, in comparison, begin an hour later on week nights and end an hour earlier each day of the week.
