Cambodia has the shortest people with an average height of 5 feet 3 inches, according to Interbasket.net. The website cites a survey of males aged 20 years and older in 82 countries.
Interbasket.net also states that the tallest people in the world live in the Netherlands, where the average height for men over 20 is 5 feet 11 inches. The six countries with the shortest men, including Cambodia, are all located in Asia, while the six countries with the tallest men, including the Netherlands, are located in Europe. The United States ranked 17th with an average height of 5 feet 9.4 inches.
